Giving

Giving is part of our Christian discipleship and service. We give because we have been given to. We give because we belong to God and want to be part of God’s Mission in the world.

As we aim to be a Faithful Community, this also means being generous according to what we have.

Likewise, each of us is grateful for the many ways in which so many people contribute towards the life of the Church.

Where does the money go?

Whilst we obviously have the huge costs of running, maintaining, repairing and developing our church buildings, it’s not all about stones and roof tiles!

We are actively involved in working with others to strengthen, transform and make a difference to our communities.

A large part of our regular outgoings also pay for our clergy and diocesan responsibilities and costs.

If you’d like to be part of our story and the work we do then you can do so in a number of different ways. You can establish regular Direct Debit payments with the Church in Wales Gift Direct Scheme, set up a Standing Order or make a one off donation by Bank Transfer

Gift Direct with The Church in Wales

You can set up a regular donation to any of the churches of the Ministry Area using the Church in Wales Gift Direct scheme

When completing the form, in the ‘beneficiary’ tab type in ‘Ministry Area of South Cardiff’ followed by the particular church. You are also able to Gift Aid your donation. The following link takes you to the Church in Wales website.

You can also make cash offerings and donations in person in any of our churches.
